Zhu is a respected Taipei chef who has lost his sense of taste but not his passion for his craft. After his wife’s death, he lives with his three daughters: Jia-Jen, a schoolteacher who has taken over her mother’s role in the family; Jia-Chien, a stubborn executive who can barely tolerate her father’s company; and the youngest, Jia-Ning, who is just beginning to discover the world of love. Every Sunday, Zhu cooks dinner, yet it is constantly overshadowed by generational conflicts. The family dynamic begins to shift when the neighbor’s mother, Mrs. Liang, returns from the United States. Will Zhu start cooking for someone else?
