With only 72 hours left until the school festival, the girls’ band Paranmaum is in crisis. After a conflict leaves them without a vocalist, the members make a desperate decision: they invite Song, a Korean exchange student who is not fluent in Japanese, to become their new singer. The performance seems to be the most important thing in the world: the girls spend nights in rehearsal rooms and laundromats, feverishly practicing the cult Japanese band The Blue Hearts’ hit “Linda Linda”.
