A forty-year-old single journalist, Edit, decides to become a mother using sperm donation. However, raising a child alone proves harder than she expected, and she increasingly feels the urge to know who the child’s father is. After discovering the donor’s identity, Edith decides to meet him, pretending she is preparing an interview about him and his successful tech company. This decision rocks not only her own life and emotions but also the world of those around her.

“The film invites the audience to look at the evolving concept of modern motherhood with curiosity and openness. Themes such as single parenthood, the ethics of sperm donation, and modern family structures are becoming increasingly relevant. The director does not judge the heroine’s choice as good or bad: she presents it as an increasingly common reality, with its unique challenges and unexplored possibilities.” (Programme curator Giedrė Vyšniauskaitė)
