After a fateful meeting, Fleur and Julian plunge into a heady romance crowned by an ambitious promise: to marry in every country in the world where it is legal. Their journey of love across continents becomes not only a personal celebration but also a quiet act of political defiance. After the fourth wedding, however, a merciless diagnosis brings their romantic plan to a halt. From then on, the women’s mission is not only to cross borders, but also to fight for the chance to give meaning to every remaining moment they share.

“This is an adaptation of the autobiographical book by Belgian writer Fleur Pierets, telling the true story of a borderless love between two women. The film sensitively reveals the fragility of queer relationships and their resistance to a world that still does not allow people to love freely. This story could have become a political manifesto, but instead it became a subtle portrait of devotion, loss, and endless love.” (Programme curator Benita Paplauskaitė)
