"I am really grateful that 7 years ago the team of the festival, where the film premiered and audiences who later flooded cinemas demonstrated a strong belief in the ideas behind „The Ancient Woods“.  Back then, we clearly understood that this film allows us not only to tell the story of old-growth forests, but also to act. I am very happy that the film inspired and gathered a wonderful team of the „Ancient Woods Foundation“, thanks to their work, today we have already acquired and protected around 200 hectares of forests from deforestation. Now every single being, even the smallest organisms, can feel safe. No less important than forest preservation is the foundation's educational activities.
