The Holdovers

The Holdovers

To like
Winter descends upon the prestigious Barton Academy. Professor Paul Hunham, wrapped in a thick cloak of cynicism, is forced to spend his holiday with a few students, and the cook named Mary, who is mourning her son’s death in the Vietnam War. One of the students, Angus, a rebellious but sharp-witted young man, challenges the strict worldview of the professor. It’s not easy for the two to get along, but Angus and Paul slowly begin to understand each other. The snowy landscape becomes the backdrop for shared adventures, and hearts begin to melt with the warmth of an unexpected human connection.
