Charismatic 37-year-old Milagros and eccentric 24-year-old Jonathan embark on a road trip. Milagros revels in her youthful lightheartedness, while Jonathan, feeling lonely, seeks adventure on dating apps and tries to escape his past. On the road, Milagros decides that she wants to become a mother and asks Jonathan to secretly get her sperm from one of his lovers. A mysterious mermaid that they meet on the road will set the course of the journey.
