The atmosphere turns electric as students protest the corrupt government of Slobodan Milošević. Fifteen-year-old Stefan is suffering from an internal struggle. His beloved mother Marklena serves as the regime’s mouthpiece, while his friends fight for the future the government is trying to take away from them. Stefan maneuvers between loyalty to his mother and the growing disapproval of the government’s policies. As the violence escalates, the mother’s carefully constructed facade begins to crumble and reveals a truth that disrupts the young man’s identity and convictions.
