Seventeen-year-old Ze lives on the plains of Mongolia. He is a good student at school and a shaman in the local community after school. He is a mediator between the community and the spiritual world, but he is torn between tradition and personal ambition. A meeting with Marala, a free soul girl, awakens his desire to take a different path. They are both confronted with their secret desires and the pressures of society. The lush landscapes reflect their struggle, while the clash between ritual and modern life highlights their search for identity. "City of Winds” invites you to see a changing Mongolia through the eyes of a young generation.
