Mike has been living on the streets of London for several years. A daily life marked by addiction, outbursts of violence, and theft eventually lands the young man behind bars. After serving his sentence, Mike returns to society: he finds a job, listens to motivational recordings, and forms new relationships. But getting back on his feet proves difficult – the demons of the past and the societal indifference threaten to destroy the fragile balance of a man without stable foundations.

“Harrison Dickinson, known to audiences for his roles in the films Triangle of Sadness and Babygirl, makes his directorial debut, creating a nuanced portrait of a man trapped in a cycle of self-destruction. He looks at his flawed character with humanity, yet without succumbing to sentimentality, and tells a compelling, sensitive story that avoids the clichés typical of films about addiction.” (Programme curator Giedrė Vyšniauskaitė)
