The ‘princess’ of all trees travels across countries and cultures, but the festive bustle and glitter hide a billion-dollar business and the daily struggle of those engaged in it. No one suspects that the most beautiful and lush Danish Christmas trees are grown from seeds collected in Georgia. This social drama allows us to observe the Danish and Georgian Christmas tree growers, experience their joy and sorrow, and discover cultural differences and similarities.
