„Murmuring Hearts is the third film by Vytautas Puidokas, further showcasing the director’s mastery in deeply and compassionately unraveling complex and socially sensitive topics. This observational documentary explores collective trauma, the intergenerational transmission of addiction, and its impact on human relationships. Every frame reflects the filmmaking team’s dedication to building a connection and mutual trust with the residents of this remote community.“ (Programme curator Benita Paplauskaitė)
