Internationally acclaimed conductor Thibaut tours the world. After an unexpected diagnosis, while searching for a bone marrow donor, he discovers that he has been adopted and has a younger brother, Jimmy. Jimmy works in a school canteen and plays the trombone in a small brass band. They seem to have nothing in common except for their love of music. Recognizing his brother’s exceptional talent, Thibault decides to right the injustice of fate. Jimmy begins to dream of a different life.
