In Queens, New York, a vibrant neighborhood glowing with neon lights, two Chinese immigrants, Amy and Didi, work at a massage parlor where clients often expect more than just a massage. Didi begins dating a construction worker, Cheung, and the two dream of moving in together. However, a tragedy strikes during Chinese New Year, changing their lives and forging a new unexpected bond.
