Head of Programme
We’re hiring a Head of Programme. Please keep reading if you love films as much as film festivals, trips, and industry parties.
We expect you to:

Be fond of cinema and have a good sense of cherry-picking auteur films that have a great potential to increase audience engagement

Have a strong vision and be driven by passion and ideas how to improve or find new angles for a long-established Vilnius international film festival ‘Kino Pavasaris’

Ready to lead the programming team and supervise the curation and execution of our festival’s film programme
-
Have a wide range of cinema interests, including children’s, culinary, blockbusters and weird arthouse movies
-
Not to be a freshman in the film industry, have an already good relationship within the international and local film field
-
Successfully lead Festival Programme, Hospitality, Film Exhibition and Film Translations teams

Work closely with colleagues from other departments such as Marketing, Communication, Production, Events to create one vision
-
Become a spokesman of the festival to the media on a national, and international level throughout the year
-
Travel a lot to film festivals around the world and be ready to get onboard next month!
Skills we appreciate:

Degree in Film industry or related field (philosophy, cultural field, creative industries, media field, audiovisual studiesm, etc.)

Good strategic thinking and strong visionary sense

Great sense of leadership and management

Strong interpersonal skills

Advanced skills in spoken and written English are essential

Guts to talk with ease about cinema in front of big audiences and also write about it

Easy-going and ready to enjoy a new ride
