Film Programmer
We’re hiring a Film Programmer. If you love films as much as film festivals, trips and industry parties, please keep reading.
We expect you to:

Be fond of cinema and have a good sense of cherry-picking auteur films that have a great potential to increase audience engagement;

Have a strong vision and be driven by passion and ideas how to improve or find new angles for a long-established Vilnius international film festival ‘Kino Pavasaris’;
-
Have a wide range of cinema interests, including children’s, culinary, blockbusters and weird arthouse movies;
-
Not to be a freshman in the film industry, have an already good relationship within the international and local film field;
-
Work closely with colleagues from other departments such as Marketing, Communication, Production, Events to create a one-way vision;
-
Become a spokesman of the festival to our audience;

Travel a lot to film festivals around the world!
Skills we appreciate:

Degree in Film industry or related field (philosophy, journalism, media studies, creative industries, audiovisual subjects)

Strong interpersonal skills
-
Oral and written communication skills in English
-
Talk with ease about cinema in front of small groups
-
Easy-going and ready to enjoy a new ride
