Beatrix is home alone in a house that is not hers. She eats and drinks, waters the garden and watches the television, hosts friends one day and boyfriend on another. Seemingly nothing special happens, but the still space and time is filled with awkward tension as the camera moves at a very intimate distance drawing a tactile portrait of the femininity itself.

“As a film critic Patrick Holzapfel put it best, “what normally escapes our view is made entirely present”. We follow Beatrix, a young woman, in her daily routine, in a way that is unknown to us, where passing time together becomes the essence. Beatrix makes us question the very definition of intimacy as we grow so close to her as if the border between us and them becomes translucent. The sensation of existence in solitude creeps onto us as we watch the film where the camera explores so curiously the female body which somehow becomes significant in itself, telling a story of the one and only Beatrix.” (Marija Fridinovaitė)
