If It Were Love
Si c’était de l’amour

How would a rave look in slow motion? What can dance say about us and our time together? Fifteen young, charismatic dancers are on tour with "Crowd", Gisèle Vienne's epic dance piece exploring the '90s rave scene. From theatre to theatre, the work mutates into strange, intimate relationships. Lines become blurred. Is the stage influencing real life or vice versa? The cinema becomes an extension of the stage, and a dance documentary becomes a troubling journey into our nights, our parties, our loves.

"It is fascinating to watch Gisèle Vienne work, her ability to purify and capture the feelings, ecstasy and dynamics hidden within movements. The energy emanates from each decelerated motion seen on screen!" (Mantė Valiūnaitė)
