Based on a true story, the film tells about Latvian emigrant Oleg (Valentin Novopolski), who works as an illegal butcher in a suburb of Brussels. He is well versed in his craft, but is dismissed after one accident. Oleg gets offered a job and a place to stay by the well-meaning Polish Andrzej (David Ogrodnik). Living with people of similar fate, Oleg realizes that help was just the bait. He gets trapped in the criminal world and his own past.

"Hundreds of thousands of Latvian Russians have no citizenship, which leads to a constant sense of alienation and homelessness. Oleg is one of them. Film's director utilizes his journalistic experience and the talented Lithuanian actor V. Novopolskis in creating a film that is both relevant to those who immigrate to Western Europe and shocking to the rest of the civilized world." (D. Raustytė-Mateikė)
