Karim D thinks he is sharp and wise. He knows poetry and politics. He rose from a social underworld to an exposed position as a provocative Parisian author. He published a novel, but he also writes in 140 signs on social media. And who is Arthur Rambo? It is impossible to answer simply or judge quickly – nonetheless some do.

“This film continues to grow after the credits roll. Laurent Cantet precisely diagnoses and cinematicly represents a difficult condition of contemporary society drenched in social media, and accurately comments on the inflicted unforeseen complications. This topic is not exhausted or tired – on the contrary – it is so intricate, we are still learning to speak about it and Arthur Rambo is an extremely rich starting point.” (Ignė Smilingytė)
