What will future generations think of us in a historical context? To observe the current state of the world, Marc Bauder, together with prominent contemporary thinkers and scientists, explores the incredible capabilities of the human brain, a global economic summit, the legacy of colonization, and the feelings of a robot. This inspiring look at our world offers a hopeful message: who we are - is in our own hands, if we recognize our connectedness, our commonality, and the meaning of “we”.

“Marc Bauder’s companions on the quest to answer the question of the film seem to be one step ahead in their knowledge and ideas about the future of the planet. Considered from the future perspective, collective responsibility gains more weight but also inspires fresh curiosity towards the world and attention for our common home, which currently is deteriorating.” (Ignė Smilingytė)
