Seven hypnotic and unpredictable short stories bound together in a psychological kaleidoscope of couples, families and friends, all connected by their common fate. Grandpa is very silent - is he just sleeping? What does Gandalf and God have in common? And why is there a hitman at the meeting of cancer patients' families? Someone might be lost, someone is missing, someone is haunting, yet someone is still here.
“Bence Fliegauf achieves a masterful illumination of the depths of human relationships. Through dialogues full of tension, intimate camerawork and sensitive performances, we are involved into the mysteries happening behind closed doors, where absence is so palpable, it becomes presence and thus the cause of events.” (Ignė Smilingyte)
World Premiere: Berlin Film Festival, Official Competition, 2021
Awards: Silver Bear - Best Supporting Performance, Lilla Kizlinger, Berlin, 2021
