A dramatic reconstruction of the infamous 2007 HIV case in the Dutch city of Groningen, where drugged guests were injected with HIV-positive blood during sex parties. Seven stylistically diverse parts seek to reveal different perspectives on the case – from the virologist to Plato, discussions on lust, consent, relationships and guilt fill the screen. In this elegant, ingenious film there is room for wonderment, pleasure, indignation and disgust.
