Tsuji Kazumichi is a bored office worker involved in questionable relationships with two of his female coworkers. One day, he saves the life of Ukiyo, a mysterious woman who was about to die in a car accident. Ukiyo is beautiful, but her off-guard attitude causes lots of problems and chaos for other people, including Tsuji. Having her in his life brings nothing but trouble and danger. Exhausted and deprived of his normal life, he will relentlessly try to save Ukiyo from the threats of Tokyo's underworld and her most dangerous self.

"This adaptation of a popular comic book works as a miniseries on the big screen. The long running time flies by, while the intriguing narrative twists unveil the social and psychological singularities of contemporary Japanese society." (Aistė Račaitytė)
