In their mid-thirties, Laura and Israël are parents to a five-year-old Lucas who is still holding them together. The couple has long lost the interest in one another. When their relationship seems headed for the rocks, Laura disappears. An unfamiliar man reports that she is dead. Her body is in Argentina. Film flashes back to Laura as she travels south on the bus, listening to stories and songs of local women, talking to a handsome passenger named Julio. It is her efforts to discover a way to live on.

"What does it mean to be human in a passive society? What does it mean to be a woman? In a visual abstract language, the director tries to answer those questions.
