The elephant and his mahout embark on their last trip to the most mysterious place on earth – the elephant cemetery. Under pursuit from poachers, their journey across the jungle transitions through the stages of death, opening onto a rich sonic landscape. In this sensory nature documentary and experimental film trip the director raises questions about reincarnation, memory and colonialism, the collapse of civilization, and the preservation of life on Earth through the interaction of its different species.
