Ivana, a Bucharest-based actress decides to spend summer holidays in her native town, situated in the opposite bank of the Danube. Unexpectedly, she becomes the central figure at a local festival and her love story with a much younger boy becomes the small community's top-gossip. Director Ivana Mladenovic invites friends, family and former lovers to play themselves in a scripted version of the story of a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown. On the Danube border, drama becomes a comedy.
"I always admire filmmakers who are not afraid to laugh at themselves and keep the high level of critical thinking. Director Ivana Mladenovic creates authentic, funny and honest film about herself and her surroundings, which is actually very close to Lithuanian context." (Mantė Valiūnaitė)
