Fire Will Come
O Que Arde

Nobody awaits Amador when he gets out of prison for arson. He returns to his village, hidden in the mountains of Galicia, to live with his mother Benedicta. Life goes on with a peaceful rhythm of the nature. Until one night when a fire devastates the region. Director Oliver Laxe is not interested in making a whodunit. Instead, he shows what is at stake for this vulnerable ecosystem where man and nature are still largely unaffected by the modern age. The film won "Un Certain Regard" Jury prize in Cannes.

"After making mysterious road movie "Mimosas", director Oliver Laxe returns with sincere and personal film about his grandparents' village in Galicia. In this subtle, unhurried story he rethinks the relationship between man and nature and looks back at the pivotal human condition." (Mantė Valiūnaitė)
