On Christmas Eve, two best friends Juan (Gael García Bernal) and Wilson (Leonardo Ortizgris) broke into the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City and stole nearly 150 Mayan artefacts. The news media solemnly reported that the heist was surely the work of a well-organised gang. Having pulled off a successful heist and with priceless treasure in their hands, the students are bound for the unexpected adventures that follow. The film won Berlin Film Festival's Silver Bear prize for Best Screenplay.
