The film is a story of a lonely person. On the one hand, her solitude resulted from having a cold - hearted family, as well as from being a part of a sexual minority. She suffered from being different in a society that maintained a hostile attitude towards people. On the other hand, her suffering was due to her reclusive nature and her always taking things too personally. Her incessant, almost paranoid self - examining, her self - interpretation of people around her as well as their behaviour towards each other and, more importantly, towards herself, drove her over the very limits of humanity. Olga was trying to break her loneliness. She was trying to run away from the surroundings she hated, yet she kept crashing with it.
