“Man-Horse” is a film about an old farmer, Jonas, and his horse. It is an intimate story about the existential relationship between human and animal; it is about solitude and the daily effort to survive. The film's director and Jonas Šalomskas are neighbours in the village of Užuguostis. They have known each other for two decades. Audrius Mickevičius (b. 1965) studied architecture at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts (Lithuania) and visual communication in Copenhagen (Denmark). He is a multidisciplinary artist, an associate professor at Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, and a guest lecturer at various European Universities. He has created sixteen short films. “Man-Horse” is his first feature-length documentary.
