Director and screenwriter was born in Tarnów. He graduated from a degree in directing from the Radio and Television Department of the University of Silesia in Katowice, as well as the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing in Warsaw. One of his student films „Magnet Man“ won recognition at numerous international film festivals. He teaches film directing at the Radio and Television Department of the University of Silesia in Katowice. In 2009 he made his first feature film „My Flesh, My Blood“.
