In the early spring of 1988, hunters capture a wild boy among the wolves deep in the Bosnian mountains. Without an identity, the boy is randomly given the name Haris and dispatched to an orphanage in Belgrade.
Even though Haris’s prognosis is grim, orphanage teacher Ilke patiently tries to help him. Progress is slow, but eventually Haris bonds with Žika, an older boy from the institution. But Žika leaves with his father, and Haris is once more left alone. Yet fate has even crueler things in store…
