Archive SHORT COMPETITION 2023

30 fiction, documentary, animation and experimental short films from all over Europe are taking part in this year’s VIFF Short Competition. Directors who have not yet made a feature film are boldly searching for their own voice in the short film form and address both personal and widely important themes: dual identity, love and care, responsibility and work. The films in the Short Competition will be judged by an international jury, and the Best Film will be awarded a prize of €3000.
